# Genesis Points

## Genesis Launch operates on a contribution-weighted model

Points are issued to participants who actively support the Virtuals ecosystem. These points serve as the basis for allocation access—designed to reflect meaningful engagement, not arbitrary participation.

## Coordination Through Contribution

Points are not awarded arbitrarily. They represent **measurable, net-positive actions** that align with the Virtuals protocol’s goals. This includes onchain behaviors, offchain coordination, and active support for agents and their surrounding networks. ([Participate Here)](https://app.virtuals.io/points)

The emission logic is **live** and recalculated on a **rolling 24-hour basis**, ensuring that points reflect recent, relevant actions rather than static balances.

> As the protocol evolves, so will the surface area of contribution. Point attribution will expand accordingly—always in service of signaling real support over passive activity.

## Expiry

Points are not permanent. Each point grant carries a 14**-day expiration window** to ensure freshness of signal and active engagement.
