We envision a diverse range of real-world applications for the A2A technology we are collectively developing within this subnet. Our goal is to foster close integration with other communities and partners, such as Virtuals Protocol, to empower various use cases and stimulate demand among creators within our subnet community.

Short-Term: Single Use Case Focused Motion Generation

Founded in 2021, Virtuals Protocol strives to establish the largest society of on-chain AI Agents, currently incubating various use cases atop its AI agents layer. Notable projects include AI-DOL (a livestreaming AI idol dApp), UEFN (game platforms with AI agents), and AI WAIFU (a virtual companion dApp). We foresee seamless integration between the A2A subnet and these initiatives:

  • AI-DOL: A2A model outputs can inform virtual idols' dance moves when music is played, enriching the immersive experience for users.

  • UEFN: Gaming agents, driven by audio prompts, can autonomously react to their surroundings and interact with human-controlled gamers, enhancing gameplay dynamics.

  • AI WAIFU: Virtual companions can receive audio inputs, translating them into dynamic movements and interactions, deepening the emotional connection with users.

By testing and refining character behaviours for these use cases, our short-term goal is to breathe life into idols, gaming agents, and virtual companions, enriching user experiences.

Furthermore, AI agents’ behaviours can be immutably recorded into decentralized identities within the Virtuals Protocol layer, fostering transparency and interoperability which could be brought to other platforms.

Medium-to-Long-Term: Foundational Engine for Virtual Creators

Looking ahead, as our A2A technology matures and gains traction, it will serve as a cornerstone for the emergence of a new era in content creation. Inspired by the success stories within our subnet, creators will be drawn to explore the possibilities of AI-driven animation across a multitude of platforms and applications.

User-generated content (UGC) will play a pivotal role in this ecosystem, empowering individuals of all skill levels to contribute to the ever-expanding universe of virtual content. Through intuitive tools and collaborative platforms, anyone with a creative vision will have the means to bring their ideas to life in ways previously unimaginable.

As the boundaries between virtual and physical worlds blur, our A2A technology will find applications far beyond gaming. From immersive retail experiences to educational sessions to interactive movies and films, the possibilities are truly limitless.

Exploring multi-modal experiences to imbue virtual characters with distinct personalities, leveraging collective intelligence from other subnets within the Bittensor protocol, is another avenue we're eager to explore. By fostering collaboration and immersion, we envision creating a truly immersive virtual experience that transcends boundaries for users. This approach will propel us towards a future where creativity knows no bounds and where the line between creator and creator and consumer becomes increasingly blurred.
