Step-by-step Guide on Launching an Agent on Unicorn Launch

Step 1: Click “Create Agent”

If your wallet is not connected, you will first be prompted to select Base chain to launch the agent token, followed by connecting your wallet. Once your wallet is connected, you could proceed to Step 2.

Step 2: Choose between launching via Unicorn mechanism or migrate an existing token

• I want to launch via Unicorn mechanism: Select this option if you have not previously launched a token for the agent.

• I want to launch an AI Agent on an existing token (Base only): Select this option if you have an existing Base token and want to use it as initial liquidity, which will be locked and staked indefinitely to earn emission rewards. This will create an agent and LP pool with $VIRTUAL. If you wish to use a non-Base token (e.g., Solana), it must first be bridged to Base (refer to this guide).

Step 3: Enter AI agent token details

These details are submitted on-chain and cannot be changed. Please verify accuracy before submitting

Agent Picture: A visual representation of the agent.

AI Agent Name: The agent’s unique identifier.

Ticker (Only for launches with new tokens): Enter a short symbol (maximum 100 characters) to represent the agent (e.g., LUNA for Luna).

Token’s address (Applicable only to migrations of existing tokens): The address of your existing token

Agent Socials: The agent’s X and website

Step 4: Create the best pitch for your project

Pitch Video: 1-minute video from your verified X account, introducing your project

Elevator Pitch: What is so cool about your project that your audience should know (maximum 280 characters)

How It Works: Provide an overview of your agent’s purpose, functionality and key components, especially highlighting what it does, how it works and why it was built

Roadmap: Share your milestones, events and future plays for your audience to understand the path to materializing your vision

Additional Details: Any bonus info, secret lore, or weird flexes about your agent, stuff that didn’t fit anywhere else, but still slaps

Step 5: Add your team’s background

This is a page where you could update yours and your team's background. Ensure your team members populate their profiles on app.virtuals.io, and add them as Contributor to the agent.

Step 6: Include the launch details

This is a section for you to schedule the launch date and time. We advise setting the launch date at least 3 days in advance to ensure sufficient time for marketing and community preparation.

You have the option to purchase up to 45% of the total supply to help protect against snipers and stabilize early trading. All pre-purchases are disclosed in the tokenomics (with 1-month cliff, 12-month vesting by default. More Reading Here). However, you can adjust these tokenomics parameters anytime. Note that the 1% trading fee applies to the pre-purchases as well.

Step 7: Tokenomics details

This section gives you an overview of the tokenomics, including the token vesting schedule and team allocation. You can edit the tokenomics for the Team Initial Buy portion. Any edits can be done up to one day before launch, after that no further changes will be permitted.

Elaborate on your token’s utility, for instance access, governance, rewards, status, etc, such that your audience is aware of what they can do with your tokens.

Step 8: Summary

If you’re keen, you can also record a 1-minute self-introduction video to share who you are and what you’re about, to boost your audience’s confidence on the project. Post the video as a single tweet on X, and drop the link.

Once you key in all these details, you can view a summary of your agent and launch details. You can still edit them up to one day before launch.

Next, confirm all the details and check the Launch Agreement, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy, click the “Create Agent” button.

You would then proceed to pay the 100 $VIRTUAL non-refundable creation fee.

Step 9: You’ve completed your set up!

Congratulations! You have just completed your agent creation journey.

The agent is now launched/scheduled to be launched. Time to sit back and relax? Not quite! It's time for you to bump up your marketing effort and share with the world why they should ape in your agent. Buckle up and have fun !!
